Franchise Business - 423 - Fri, 23 Apr 2010
Thinking about buying a franchise business? Well, now may be the right time, especially if you're looking to be in the restaurant business. Huddle House has announced its 2010 Development Incentive Program. For a limited time they are offering a franchise fee of only $5,000; that's a $20,000 savings. Huddle House is also giving new franchise owners five months without having to pay royalty fees.

So, if you're looking to open a restaurant, Huddle House might be the right franchise business for you.

Huddle House has been in business for more than 45 years. According to their web site, the "Huddle House foundation was created in 1964 as an answer to a simple need. High school football fans in the close-knit community of Decatur, Georgia needed a warm and inviting place to 'huddle-up' with family and friends after Friday night games. The idea took off, and one-by-one new communities gathered at their own Huddle House for delicious comfort food and southern-style hospitality." [1]

In their aggressive marketing campaign, the Huddle House is looking for "qualified franchisees throughout the Southeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest for single and multi-unit development opportunities." If you fit the bill, this might be the perfect franchise business opportunity to come along in quite some time.

If you don't have the $5,000 needed to get started, maybe what you need is something similar to a franchise business, but without all the up front expense. Although there are a lot of similarities, there is an alternative to buying a franchise business, and that's with TriVita and their Sonoran Bloom Nopalea opportunity.

You now have a choice, put up thousands of dollars to get started, and pay royalty fees in six months, or pay very little to get started, and pay no royalty fees, ever. It's your choice!

To learn about the Huddle House, go to their web site. To learn about TriVita, click on the link below.

A New Franchise Business - 412 - Mon, 12 Apr 2010
With the rage being tanning, there is a new low-cost franchise business in the marketplace. For a measly $26,300 you could be in the tanning business with iBeach, the first and only 24 / 7 tanning franchise.

According to their web site, "the iBeach franchise is an ideal business opportunity for all types of investors. From the small business owner who wants the flexibly and freedom of being their own boss, to corporations that are looking for huge returns on their investments by partnering with a high-quality franchise system."

At iBeach, "their goal is to provide their franchisees with the best of both worlds. The ease of opening a new business by adapting to their business model, along with the flexibly and freedom to make decisions based on local variables or personal choices."

As an iBeach salon owner and franchisee, iBeach will provide you with training that should give you a significant business advantage. They will cover many things in their mandatory training program including but not limited to, a sales process designed to sell more tanning memberships, how to manage your time and handle the every day operations of a salon, and how to motivate and enhance performance from your employees. According to their franchise business information, iBeach "offers everything to help you become a more successful business owner."

Ok, it sounds like a great company, but who has $26,300 lying around to invest into a tanning business. The U.S. economy is in the dumpers and the first thing to go when things get bad are the non-necessary items, of which may include tanning, at least the indoor costly type.

There are other ways to start a lost-cost business without paying the high-cost franchise fee, and other hidden fees. I didn't see anywhere in iBeach's information area that the franchise fee would include an actual building with a signed lease. Is that a hidden cost, or will that come as part of what many franchisors don't like to refer to as their "hidden costs." If you are looking for a franchise business, make sure you find out everything. Get all of the details.

As of the writing of this article, there is only one current franchise business and that's located in Waite Park, MN. There are two others opening soon. Those two will be located in Minnesota. I mentioned this is a new franchise opportunity, so make sure you check out everything on the company and its principals before signing any contract. Good luck!

Home Based Franchise Solutions

While doing some research on Google about home based franchise businesses, I stumbled upon an article about the advantages of a home based franchise. In the article I have found that a lot of business professionals believe that anybody looking to invest in a business should look for a professional franchise business. As I read further, the writer was talking about professional home based franchise businesses.

The article was pretty exciting because I think the best thing anyone can do for themselves is start a home based business. Since I'm pretty passionate about franchises I was excited to read the article.

Why a Home-Based Franchise Business?

Prospects looking at home-based opportunities need to consider the number of advantages and not pay attention to the disadvantages. One should not only look at the investment cost as a basis for making a decision, but what type of ROI one can receive. These types of business opportunities (home-based) should be assessed as per the same criteria as other franchise businesses (non-home based). While this category does offer the least amount of franchise choices, a home-based franchise can be just as exciting and rewarding as any dynamic retail or fast-food enterprise.

My research on Google about home based franchises. For the most part of my research I have found that if your considering a home based business, your best bet is going with a home based franchise.

Franchise System for the Business Professional

I was reading some posts in a forum on the Internet about franchises, and which franchise systems seemed to be the most professional, the best, and the most affordable. I came across this one post and I had to reply to the writer. Below is an excerpt of my comments:

Lance, in your post, you mention that "the best categories for profitability seem to be service franchises, auto franchises and unique categories." I agree with that statement with one exception, finding qualified technicians. Finding skilled, well trained technicians, in the "information world" that seems to have enveloped us, is quite difficult. We all know that employees (especially skilled technicians) can make or break a business.

When spending money on a franchise system that could provide a professional business person with a nice income, I'm not sure service franchises, and/or auto franchises should be where the franchisee should spend their money. As a former auto/truck business owner of twenty-one years, I know how hard it is to find qualified technicians, one of the reasons I sold the business.

Although I did not own a franchise business, I was a sole-proprietor, I still know how fast the vehicles, machinery, and/or equipment is changing. So spending money on a franchise, and then finding individuals to repair the equipment, will not be an easy task, hence, my feeling about purchasing a franchise in the service industry.

I believe there is a better solution for business professionals looking for a franchise, a franchise where they do not have to spend their life savings. To learn more about an alternative to a franchise business that I'm talking about, go to a franchise solution.

Franchise - FAQ's

Franchises play an integral role in our lives and the American society in general. You're probably a frequent customer at the local Quizno's or Subway franchise. You may even know people who have found success through a franchise business. Perhaps you've even considered purchasing a franchise yourself. If so, you probably have some burning questions you haven't quite been able to find the answers for. You're not alone!

The current economy and society have brought new concerns to the surface about the franchise industry. Here are a couple of questions (along with my answers) that are asked quite frequently:

1. Should I own my own business before buying a franchise?

Some franchisers would prefer that you didn't, but I believe that it couldn't hurt. The franchisor's reason why they prefer you not to have had you own business is, because of bad habits that they'd have to spend time breaking, if your business was in the same industry. You'd have [management] styles that may not be compatible with theirs, and the normal and natural thing would be for you to always slip back into your comfort zone.

On the other hand, having experience working in any business gives you discipline. You understand how to work with customers, meet deadlines and take on responsibility as opposed to relying on your co-workers and your secretary in a big company. All in all, I would rather have someone who spent years in business, but it's a personal preference among franchisers.

Either way, a lot of franchisers realize that people who come out of training remember about 20 percent of it, and then they struggle for a while until they grasp the rest of it through practical experience in the [franchise] setting.

2. Would it be wise to cash out some equity from my house to invest in a franchise?

Given today's interest rates on home loans, I would say go for it. What do you have to loose? Franchises are modestly priced. Even though, I would be careful with any investment. However, there's really no difference between investing in a franchise and investing in a stock. If you invest in a stable, secure franchise (stock) with a great track record and good performance, there's not a lot of risk.

On the other hand, if you invest in a franchise based on a trend or fad, or one that you don't know a lot about and haven't done your research on, then I would say no. I wouldn't invest a dime. But remember, that's just an investment decision. Most people use the equity in their homes because it's usually their major asset and they can borrow against it. Make sure whatever you're investing in is a rational investment. One more piece of advise, do not jump into something just because the salesman sold you on it.

Choose a Professional Franchise Business for Your Second Job

Facing some expenses in the future? Need a new car? Do you have a son or daughter going off to college? Want a new house? If you're facing some future expenses, why not start your own business? That's what I would recommend before I went out to get a second job. WHY? You can make a lot more money owning a business than working for someone.

Typically, there are many reasons why people choose to take on the challenge and responsibility of a second job rather than start their own business. People rarely take on a second job for pleasure. However, many people considering a second job hardly ever think about other options, like starting a home business, or buying a professional franchise business. A home business or a professional franchise business offers three benefits that the typical second jobs does not.

The first benefit that a home business or professional franchise business offers, over most of the second jobs available, is flexibility. A home business or a franchise makes it easier to work around your primary job and family commitments. There are very few second jobs that offer the flexibility of a home business. A home business can literally be run when and where you like. In fact, you could even work your home business of franchise business during your lunch hour. Unlike a second job, it's easier to get time off for holidays and vacations when you're the boss.

The second benefit of a home business or professional business franchise is you get to choose what that business is. You can take advantage of your own interests, skills, and God given talents, which is not something most second jobs offer. The likelihood of finding a second job that fits your gifts and your schedule is probably somewhere between slim and not available. The Internet can be a tremendous resource of information on every imaginable franchise, home business, or topic of interest; just do a search on Google. I'm confident you can find your niche on Google!

Finally, a home business or professional franchise business offers on-the-job training. With a plethora of web conferencing systems, it's easy to get training from a variety of experts in any field. No matter what you decide, there is a wealth of information on the Internet. Go to Google, and do a search. It can help you find the right professional franchise business so you can make your second job, a home business, both profitable and rewarding.

Remember, if you're looking to make extra money, look for a professional franchise business, one you can work from the comforts of your own home.

A Low Cost Franchise Business

Owning a franchise business takes hard work. Are you up to putting forth the effort it takes? Owning a franchise business can also take a lot of money, although it doesn't have to. There are plenty of low cost franchise businesses available, just search Google.

Back to putting forth the effort, even if you decide on a low cost business franchise, you will still have to put forth the effort to make it work. Running a business takes time, and effort to become prosperous, but like I said before, it doesn't have to take your life savings. A low cost franchise business may be an option for you.

I've mentioned this before in my posts because not everyone has the money to purchase a McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King. If you're like the majority of people, and you want to own a franchise business, take a look at a low cost franchise business. Go to Google, and type in, low cost franchise, and see what is available, you just may be surprised.

If you don't find what you are looking for, check out the information at low cost franchise business by clicking on the link. If you have any questions after checking it out, you can contact me for additional information. But remember, whether you choose a traditional franchise business, or a low cost franchise business, it still takes hard work to be prosperous. If you're up to the task, do your due-diligence.

A Franchise Solution holds a great reputation for the best online work at home franchise business information available on Google.

How to build an online Franchise Business Using a Virtual Conference Room

Online home based franchise business methods are continually changing on the net. Professional home based business owners are becoming aware of the new and advanced tools that are available to them. Many online franchisees are searching for these tools to enhance the overall productivity of any online franchise business. This post is an attempt to explain how you can use a virtual conference room to enhance your franchise business.

With today's cutting edge technology, online virtual conference rooms are a must for any small home based franchise business. The virtual conference room I'm talking about is a product of Vereconference, the highly effective web conferencing system that makes communications for the online franchise business simple. Individuals login to a room via a web address (URL) or link; this link will take them directly to the conference room. From there people will listen to the trainer speak about any subject concerning your business. There is no need to travel to other cities, or states to get the necessary training. All of the training can be conducted right on your PC, via the Internet.

VereConference's VoIP online conference room comes with a variety of tools, including recording features where you can save the training in MP3 format for later listening. The atmosphere of a virtual conference room promotes education at its finest. I use the virtual conference room everyday for communications with other possible franchisees, to share marketing strategies and other business ideas, and with customers, to share information about our products. Giving and receiving information is easy with a virtual conference room. Communication concerning your business is a must for any franchise business owner.

Virtual conference rooms can be used to train your executives or sales people anywhere in the world. Any subject can be taught in the rooms to improve your franchise business.

The Home Business Marketing Group is a big proponent of virtual conference rooms. The ultimate team uses these rooms to keep their team organized and up to date on all company information.

Franchise Solution - Get to Know the Franchisor

If you are at all serious about owning a franchise business, make sure you get to know the franchisor. Invest time in getting to know all there is about the franchisor. How did he/she get started? What made him/her decide on franchising their business? What's the history of the franchise? Learn all you can about the franchisor, by asking questions, listening, and taking notes.

For your franchise to prosper, you need to be happy with not only the industry you'll be working in but also the people you will be working with. Remember, you'll be promoting and/or selling their name, their brand. The investment will be your own, but the name belongs to the franchisor; you're paying to market their products and/or services.

After you gather your information about the franchisor, review it. Ask questions to yourself, like is this the person, the people, or the organization I want to invest my money with? Are they the ones I really want to work closely with? Remember, your franchise business is almost like a marriage, between you and franchisor. Be sure this is where you want to invest you time and money.

Franchise Opportunities Information Online

Franchises offer franchisees the advantage of starting up a new business quickly, based on a proven system of doing business. Good franchise opportunities offer a turnkey business: from site selection to lease negotiation, training, mentoring and ongoing support as well as statutory requirements and troubleshooting.

This allows a franchise owner (franchisee) to operate a business model that works, is predictable and has a better chance of turning a profit. This gives franchises a business edge because they can focus on growing and running their businesses without tripping over common small business startup stumbling blocks.

It can be confusing when potential franchisees seek out information on franchise opportunities online. Although there are plenty of web sites, articles, and franchise business opportunity directories on the Internet, which ones can you rely on to tell your the truth? One rule of thumb, if they DO NOT have their contact information on the site, move along.

Here are some other questions you should be asking yourself, before even moving forward with your online research:

1. Do you have enough money to purchase a franchise? Most franchise offers have a projected return of investment period. However, this does not mean that you will recoup you money on the specified time. Have the money to spend on at least three months or more on your business after the stated ROI period.

2. Do you have the right personality for a franchisee? Franchisees often have to work within a specific set of rules or guidelines. That's why franchisees have to be ready to follow the company's operations manual by the book. If you have your own ideas and you have a habit of experimenting with them, you might find the franchise opportunity's rules and regulations too restrictive for your entrepreneurial spirit.

Once you've decided to look into franchise opportunities, you need to do some research on the franchisor as well. Is the franchise organization financially sound and stable? Are the products or service ideas competitive enough to withstand changes in the market? More importantly, is the product or idea sellable in your area? If the parent company goes bankrupt while your business is still up and running, what will you do? This is the reason you should always check the annual growth records of any franchise opportunity you may be considering. Ask for the statistics on the growth of the franchise as well as the growth of the individual franchisees under the system.

Doing the research early on can save you plenty of heartaches latter on.

Franchise Opportunities Surround Us

Franchise opportunities are all around us, all we have to do is look around. Everywhere you go, whether to buy food, auto parts, or ice cream, you're probably buying from a franchised business. Many, if not all, started as just a small business and then grew into a franchise opportunity.

There are about 600,000 franchised businesses operating in the U.S., including lawn care, home improvement, computer services--virtually any type of business imaginable. That number is increasing by about 6% a year, according to the International Franchise Association (IFA) in Washington.

According to some web sites on the Internet, a new franchise opens every six and one half minutes of each business day. The franchising opportunities are also drawing people from all walks of life, like corporate professionals, college graduates and small business people.

To many, cost is an issue. A franchise that's easy on your wallet is no guarantee of its solidity or growth potential. It's in your best interest to find out exactly what you're paying for:

Does the franchise fee include training, on-site support and advertising?

An important issue is, what's the financial position of the franchise? Under federal law, each franchise is required to allow you access to its Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). This document offers information about the company's finances, as well as details of the franchise agreement.

There are many home based business franchise opportunities, some legit, and some scams. As a matter of fact, for those looking at buying a home-based business opportunity, beware. The problem is so bad with bogus and losing business propositions that the FTC's franchise division is now drafting new rules to counter the explosion of scam business opportunities.

Franchise opportunities are important to our economy and important to you...every day of your life.

Franchise Opportunities-727 - Sun, 27 Jul 2008

Franchise Opportunities

Franchise Opportunities in 2008 total approximately 2500 in 18 industries ranging from automotive franchises to kids franchises to home based businesses to franchises for women. Is there one particular franchise industry that seems to be growing faster than another?

There are actually almost 3000 franchise opportunities available in the franchise universe. The fast food franchise category has nearly 500 franchise concepts available which represents about 20% of the total number of franchise opportunities.

Retail franchises and Service businesses together represent another 22% followed by Restaurant franchises and maintenance services franchises at 8% each.

Franchises may be the lifeblood of our overall economy. From the day our children are born, we buy products and services from children's franchises whether in Seattle, Washington or Des Moines, Iowa or Manhattan, New York.

From children's books, to baby clothes, to toys and games, to child care franchises, playtime centers, and, of course, tutoring franchises offering specialized education in math, reading, test preparation, all provided by children's franchises across America.

As young adults franchise businesses assist us in buying real estate, lawn care, home improvement and handyman services. Working moms call franchises for residential maid services, nannie care, babysitting, music lessons and child birthday party franchises for birthdays from ages 4 to 15.

Franchises may be serving no greater need than to provide home health care, senior services to our aging baby boomers. Senior care franchise opportunities offer either medical or non-medical home health care to provide seniors an opportunity to live independently from the comfort of their own home.

When you buy a franchise, whether it is a home based franchise business or a fast food franchise you are buying experience and knowledge. A franchise business model, time tested, giving you a shortcut to success.

Franchise opportunities are important to our economy and important to you...everyday of your life.

Franchise Opportunities - The Missing Information?

Home Blinds of America, one of the top franchise opportunities, would be thrilled if you were interested in this exciting High Cash Flow business opportunity. Their goal is to create a turn key operation in your city or town and turn you into your own boss with unlimited income potential. They are a family owned and operated business and they would like to share their successful window covering business system with you. Do your due diligence and spent some time researching this franchise opportunity, and someone from Home Blinds of America will be happy to help you make the mental and physical transition to be an entrepreneur and operate a successful window covering business.

Due to the overwhelming demand for window coverings nationwide, as a result of new home sales, existing homes and offices, this has created a 10 billion dollar per year industry. Home Blinds of America has been serving this industry for several years now and has developed a proven system to help people become a part of this growing industry. Their professional team will train you in all aspects of this business to create a turnkey window covering business operation for you in your city or town. According to Home Blinds of America, you can make as much as you want based on your financial goals. Their research proves the need and demand will always be there to support your business anywhere in the USA.

This is a typical statement made by most franchise opportunities. BUT how true is it? The majority of franchise opportunities will tell you how easy it is, and that the earnings are unlimited. What most franchise opportunities will not tell you is the problems that you will face with employees, health insurance, fuel costs, and insurance. All of these are part of any franchise business, but rarely brought up when looking at the franchise opportunity. Why the avoidance of some of the negative aspects of business?

Most franchisors have highly skilled salespeople selling their franchises. These experts are trying to sell their franchise, and they are very good at it. Focusing on the daily aspects of the business operations is not what sells a franchise. Telling someone how fast they will receive a return on their investment is what sells. Many future franchise owners are looking to make money and that's the tactic of the highly skilled salesperson, NOT explaining the daily business operations (that process comes after during training and after the papers have been signed).

Most franchise opportunities get you to sign papers, submit your check and then train you on the business operations. They are always selling you on how you can make money with their franchise opportunity, providing you follow their step-by-step procedures. With that said, the Ultimate Team has a business opportunity which is different from all franchise opportunities found on Google.

The Ultimate Team will give you the step-by-step procedures before you spend any money, or sign any papers. Actually, there are no papers to sign because the Ultimate Team is not selling a franchise opportunity, and is NOT a franchise business.

Franchise Opportunities

Franchise Opportunities can be very rewarding. The Franchise Solution web site helps people like you find the perfect franchise business, and decipher all the information about different Franchise Opportunities or Business Opportunities found on the Internet. Not all franchise or business opportunities are the same. You will find MANY different franchise opportunities when searching on Google, and the franchise solutions site can help you find the right opportunity for you.

Here are some important facts! The economy is in disarray; jobs are being lost and are basically going down the drain. Good paying blue collar jobs in the US are declining. The majority of manufacturing jobs are moving to China, Mexico and other countries. We are also facing soaring gas prices, which are not slated to come down any time soon. The cost of living is on the rise, yet our pay does not seem to be going up at the same rate. If you haven't noticed, the value of the US dollar is dropping like a lead balloon. To make matters even worse, most of the middle class are burdened by crushing debt. And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, we are being attacked from all sides!

It almost seems hopeless for a person to survive in this day and age. But DO NOT fear, there is a better way to make a living, and you CAN take control of your financial future. The solution:

Franchise Opportunities

Franchise opportunities are in abundance, and not all of them will cost you your life savings, or put you in a lifetime of debt! You can, in all actuality, start your very own franchise business today, with very little capital expenditure! As a franchise business owner, you will help yourself build a better, more stable income, and it will also give you a better outlook on your financial situation, not to mention your life. The Ultimate Team shares information about franchise opportunities amd they have some of the best opportunities listed on their franchise solution web site. Anyone who has a desire to succeed in business can find the franchise that best fits your personality. As I mentioned before, many franchise opportunities WILL NOT cost you an arm or a leg. As a matter of fact, there are many franchise opportunities that are very affordable, and will reward you handsomely.

Franchise opportunities that allow you to work from home are, in my opinion, your best bet. working from home will help you eliminate, or decrease the gasoline bill for your vehicle(s), because you will not have to leave your home to go to work. Just think about it; if more people worked from their home, it would solve a lot of the problems we face in the world today. As business owners we would make a massive impact on the problems our world faces today. Not only would we be helping ourselves by lowering our gasoline bills, but we would also be helping by lowering the unemployment rate. This truly is a WIN - WIN situation for all involved.

The Ultimate team will help you decipher the information about franchise opportunities and the idea of working from home. They have a team of leaders ready to take you under their wings and teach you the tricks of the trade. To learn more about The Ultimate Team, click on the link.
